Review Bath Mats
No doubt you have seen the ShamWow guy and the Zorbeez infomercials that make these special little towels magically transform into a chamois, sponge and cloth all at once. They hold ten or even twelve times their own weight in liquids and come with lifetime (yes lifetime) guarantees! Both of these products are hyped to make every task in the home and otherwise easier, more efficient and claim to save the environment by replacing paper towels. They clean up messes, spills, can be used to wash cars and boats. Essentially, anything you would use a sponge, towel or chamois for can be replaced by the ShamWow or Zorbeez. But now that there are so many brands to choose from which one is best?
The ShamWow guy gives an excellent presentation that is a sure bet to excite any domestic diva or car wash enthusiast. Just thinking about all the money you can save on not buying paper towels and finally having a cloth that will do it all is sure to get people thinking they need a set of ShamWows. The ShamWow holds 20 times its own weight in liquid; which equals to about 20 ounces. The $19.95 offer gives the consumer 8 ShamWow cloths in different sizes plus a free mop ShamWow for doing floors or high windows outside the home. They are seemingly indestructible according to both company claims and ShamWow reviews.
Independent review companies have tested the ShamWow and come to the conclusion that they do in fact work as they are advertised to but that after time and washing and drying they do get worn out and become "fuzzy." They also do not pick 100% of the liquid and in a consumer test were not valuable against thicker liquids like tomato juice. Other practical uses include using them after swimming, for a bath mat or for cleaning greasy surfaces like stove tops. All in all, these super absorbent towels do not seem to scratch surfaces and are perhaps worth the money. But there is a good chance you will still want a roll or two of paper towels lying around. As for the deal, $19.95 is not a bad deal for getting 8 towels and a mop but consumers feel that the smaller ShamWows are actually a tad too small! The free bonus mop has been dubbed as useless and garbage by consumer reviews due to the fact that it may soak up spills on hardwoods or linoleum; but does not clean them like a regular mop does. Perhaps that is why it is 'free.'
